Up before 8 am so I could go to Bangalow again to the CWA. Today I helped them by sewing buttons onto hand towels, threading draw string bags, finishing another square for their blanket and helping another lady with her square. After lunch of left over pizza I hoovered up. Before heading back to Byron I popped into the newsagents for a couple of cards and was back by 3pm.
I then went for a walk to try and get my white Birkenstocks resoled but the shop referred me to the industrial site so they had to wait. When I got back I did some tidying and got ready so Alice and I could go out for supper. We stopped for cocktails first which were yum. We then went to an Italian and had three courses – pate we shared, pasta and then pudding. Sorry no photos of the food – we were to busy talking but here are some badly taken ones of us!

We were stuffed and back by 9:30 – I wasn’t capable of anything else after a cocktail and sharing a bottle of red!
